A characteristic feature of the book is that it contains, in addition to the classification and description of phase equilibria, also instructions for measurement and or estimation of solubilities. The chapter of the correlation of solubilities is unique in the world literature: it describes various methods scattered even in not easily accessible journals. Theoretical considerations and equations are illustrated by numerous examples and complemented by computer programs. Tables of solubilities are composed with the use of one of the correlation methods: the solubilities of threecomponent systems are tabulated in the form of constants of corresponding equations, what gives the possibility of easy temperature interpolations and even of estimation of solubilities in complex polycomponent systems. The book destined as a supplementary textbook for university students in chemistry and chemical engineering, for chemical engineers and technologists in chemical industries and related tranches, and for research workers in laboratories.
